Company Overview
CompassCare serves pregnant women at several offices across New York State and has recently opened up a center in New York City. With the help of overseeing physicians, nurses are able to minister the love of Christ to many women who feel stuck, lost and alone.
CompassCare's mission is to erase the need for abortion by effectively serving pregnant at risk women, transforming fear into confidence. With our highly trained medical staff, we help them live free in Christ, empower them with accurate information, trust them to make God-honoring decisions, and support them via our medical and community services network.
CompassCare is seeking mature Christian nurses interested in serving women at risk for abortion. The position will include serving patients with pregnancy testing and ultrasound imaging, options consultations, STD testing and treatment, and progesterone therapy to reverse chemical abortion.

CompassCare’s History of Effectiveness
1970 Abortion legalized on July 1 and the first free-standing abortion clinic in the nation opens on July 2 – three years before Roe v. Wade.
2002 Became the first medicalized pregnancy center in NY, helping a dozen other centers add medical services in the state.
2005 Pioneered a now nationally embraced philosophy of ministry and service model in the pregnancy center movement.
2007 Created a training system to help other pregnancy centers around the nation to improve effectiveness, reaching and serving more women considering abortion.
2012 Open-sourced the industry-leading patient service system and an estimated 650 pregnancy centers now using CompassCare’s language or service systems to some degree with several attempting to replicate the concepts on their own.
2015 Launched a medical service process management software, Optimize, to help pregnancy centers actively engage continuous improvement to better serve women seriously considering abortion.
2019 Initiated the NYS Abortion Reduction plan and adopted three pregnancy centers in the Buffalo region, the largest abortion-hub in the state outside of NYC, with the goal of cutting abortion by 50% in 5 years.
2021 Expanded services to NY’s Capital Region, the state’s third largest abortion hub, by adopting a longstanding pregnancy center, with the goal of cutting abortion by 50% in 5 years.
2022 Firebombed by abortion terrorist group, Jane’s Revenge, in June, CompassCare did not lose a single day of life-saving patient services and rebuilt the gutted office in 52 days, while managing a national PR strategy to protect pregnancy centers from further violence and censorship and developing and launching a nationwide TeleCare initiative.
2023 CompassCare adopts the life-saving mission of EMC Frontline Pregnancy Centers. 40-year pro- life veteran, Chris Slattery, responsible for saving over 46,000 babies from abortion, passed his pro-life mantle to Rev. Jim Harden, CompassCare CEO.

» Approximately 1,000,000 abortions annually since 1973 – totaling more than 65 million preborn babies aborted.

» Future Preterm Deliveries: At least 49 studies have demonstrated a statistically significant increase in premature births or low birth weight risk in women with prior induced abortions.
» Breast Cancer: Of women who have been pregnant, those with a history of abortion are 1.4 times more likely to get breast cancer than those who have never had an abortion.
» STDs and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease (PID): Of patients who have a Chlamydia infection at the time of abortion, 23% will develop PID within 4 weeks.
